I don't know. If it's some sort of warning then we'd better be careful, but beyond that... [flying dead whales.]

Of course they did. [He leans back on the counter, thinking. They were limited in what they could do, after all, with the mismash of visitors Philemon pulled in and their personas. It was a functional system, but they weren't really a trained, coherent defense force by any means.] White usually moves first.... so they might have an advantage of initiative too. Anything else you noticed?

[He shakes his head.]

Nothing in particular. I didn't bother to keep track of the moves - I didn't expect it to be anything significant at the time.

It was a dream.... I guess it's hard to remember every little detail. [He frowns in consideration, trying to figure out what to do.]

That key might be some sort of tool to help, maybe-- [Or not.] At least, he obviously wanted a visitor to use it somehow. But where? And for what?

Who knows. Leave it to Philemon to leave out all the important details.

I'll keep it with me and see if I can find anything. I wonder if that long-nosed guy knows anything...

He might. That's one mysterious room to poke around in, anyway. [In a city of mysteries, though, who's to say?]

If there's a place with a strong connection to Philemon, that'd have to be it.

Yeah, it is. If it's going to be a place that makes the most sense, that would be it.

Putting it off is probably a bad idea, too...

Sounds like a plan. We should probably figure this out as soon as possible. [He nods, settling down to eat his own breakfast. Today was looking like it was going to be busy-- all the more reason to eat.]
