[It takes even longer than usual for Hizumi to make his appearance this morning, although he also looks like he's actually rested today. Funny how that works.
He stifles a yawn a bit less dramatically than the norm, one hand stuffed into his pocket.]
Yo. Looks like it was my turn to get the weird dream thing.
[He glances over at Hizumi from where he's packing lunchboxes at the table, giving him a questioning look. He didn't look like he'd had a hideously creepy dream about disasters, death and destruction, he looked like he'd actually slept well for once. Unless Hizumi was putting on out of habit again, but why would he when he'd mentioned it?]
..You dreamt of playing chess with a kid? [He thwaps at Hizumi's hand lightly when it gets too close to the lunchboxes, frowning.] Hey, I made breakfast. Eat some of that before it goes cold.
[He jerks a thumb over to the stove, where there's steamed rice, miso and fish freshly cooked and waiting to be bowled out.]
Cute. Sounds like you took a shine to her. [That's alright, it sounded similar enough to Hizumi's name he could guess some of the motivation behind it anyway. He eyes the key curiously, closing the lunchbox and stacking it with the others.]
Philemon wants the visitors to have it? Why?
[Philemon...Philemon... Something was nagging him about his involvement, but he couldn't quite...
He pauses in his motions of spooning rice into the bowl, eyes going slightly wide.] ...A golden butterfly.
...That dream I had a few days ago. [Damn, why didn't he realize it sooner? He sets down the rice scoop and bowl, before turning to face Hizumi with a frown.]
There was a golden butterfly in it. It landed on that mirror before it started showing all those things.
[He thinks back to his own dream, his eyes narrowing...]
...The chess game. Visitors were black, and... someone else was white. Black moved according to the rules, but the white pieces did whatever they wanted.
Of course they did. [He leans back on the counter, thinking. They were limited in what they could do, after all, with the mismash of visitors Philemon pulled in and their personas. It was a functional system, but they weren't really a trained, coherent defense force by any means.] White usually moves first.... so they might have an advantage of initiative too. Anything else you noticed?
Sounds like a plan. We should probably figure this out as soon as possible. [He nods, settling down to eat his own breakfast. Today was looking like it was going to be busy-- all the more reason to eat.]

[Action] Morning of June 7th
You look well rested for getting weird dreams.
[Action] Morning of June 7th
[He'll go ahead and seat himself at the table, reaching over as if to nab some of the food straight out of the lunch box.]
I met a little kid and we talked over chess.

[He pouts, but will go ahead and make for the actual breakfast now.]
Well, more like it played itself while we talked. Said she's met Philemon before - or at least, a guy with a butterfly mask.
[But given it was also in a dream of all things...]
Apparently she forgot her name, too. It's possible it has something to do with the collective unconscious.
[Action] Morning of June 7th
You're right. If Philemon's involved, it might not be just a dream.
[nothing involving that guy was 'just' anything.]
[Action] Morning of June 7th
[And then, an exasperated sigh.]
Ahh, but I realized it too late. I thought it was a normal dream until she talked about Philemon, and by then I was already on the verge of waking up.
[Talk about annoying!]
She did manage to leave me with a parting gift, though.
[Action] Morning of June 7th
What kind of parting gift did she give you?
[Action] Morning of June 7th
[At the second part, he'll put down the food he'd gotten, grabbing something out of his pocket and turning to hold it up for Ayumu to see.
It's a small silver key.]
I woke up with this in my hand. Apparently Philemon told her to give it to the first Visitor to show up.
Lucky me, I suppose.

[A shrug. But when Ayumu mentions the butterfly, he's back at attention.]
-? What about it?
[Action] Morning of June 7th
There was a golden butterfly in it. It landed on that mirror before it started showing all those things.
[Action] Morning of June 7th
[Thank you for the warning there, Philemon.]
Wonder what it all is supposed to mean? Watching out for danger is a given, but...
[Action] Morning of June 7th
...Wonder if they had flying whales once, to go with the dolphins...
[Action] Morning of June 7th
It's possible.
[He thinks back to his own dream, his eyes narrowing...]

[Action] Morning of June 7th
Nothing in particular. I didn't bother to keep track of the moves - I didn't expect it to be anything significant at the time.
[...Even if a chess figure that looked like him was a rather heavy-handed metaphor.]
[Action] Morning of June 7th
That key might be some sort of tool to help, maybe-- [Or not.] At least, he obviously wanted a visitor to use it somehow. But where? And for what?
[Action] Morning of June 7th
[Jerk.]
I'll keep it with me and see if I can find anything. I wonder if that long-nosed guy knows anything...

[Considering who gave them the power to use personas in the first place...]
Re: [Action] Morning of June 7th

[Sigh. Look at him being all responsible for once.]
D'you think we should grab Taro and head over later today?
[No need to make the tanuki feel left out.]

[It's kind of amazing they haven't fired him yet. Must be that super charisma.]
